Biography
Steve Anderson received his bachelor's degree in Music Theory from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He continues to devote his energy full-time to composing and arranging, and creating music for all types of venues. His published works by Shawnee Press include, "There's A Tiny Baby Born Tonight," and "Good News." He also wrote an original cantata entitled, "The Promise" which included chamber orchestra arrangements.

Steve has written arrangements for choral performance groups at Ohio State University, such as Scarlet and Gray, Men's Basketball Pep Band, and Men's Glee Club, as well as numerous high school show choirs and ensembles throughout the United States. He has been the principle arranger for Vaud-Villities, a musical theater company in Columbus, Ohio for over 30 years, writing choral arrangements for the 300+ voice chorus, as well as instrumental arrangements for the 26-piece orchestra. He has served as musical director/arranger for many other local choral groups and shows in the central Ohio area.
  He has experience designing, directing and writing arrangements for numerous business convention shows. Steve has shared his talents as musical director for Phyllis Diller in her regional performances for Ohio Cancer Research Associates, as musical director for Columbus Light Opera's production of "Spirit Of America", and entertainment groups City Lights, Sophistication, and SoundTrek, writing all vocal and band arrangements.
    Steve has also served as Director of Music at Church Of The Savior United Methodist and North Congregational Church Of Christ in Columbus. These music programs included the sanctuary and children's choirs, multiple bell choirs, and arranging and directing the music for seasonal Chamber Orchestras.
